25-Seven Systems Upgrades Audio Time Manager

– “Cue” Mode Added, Record Buffer Capacity Expanded to One Hour with Release of Audio Time Manager 1.40 Software –

Las Vegas – (April 24, 2006) – 25-Seven Systems, Inc., specializing in audio technologies for more efficient and profitable radio operations, released at NAB 2006 today an upgrade of its award-winning Audio Time Manager™.

The processor that lets radio stations delay the start of live programs and then catch up to real time seamlessly without loss of original content has been upgraded to include “cue” mode, and a record buffer capacity expanded to one hour with the release of new Audio Time Manager 1.40 software.

Audio Time Manager was a Radio World newspaper “Cool Stuff” Award recipient at NAB 2005.

“These new features greatly expand Audio Time Manager’s time shifting and time compression capabilities,” 25-Seven Systems President Geoff Steadman said. “The new 1.40 version is a direct response to our end users requests and suggestions.”

The new “cue” mode allows the user to easily reposition the starting playback location of an audio stream, while it is still recording.

“ ‘Cue’ mode gives users a ‘second chance’ to capture the beginning of an audio segment, for example, in cases where the operator couldn’t press the Record button in time because they were across the room when an event occurred. It also allows them to locate and play back from any point in the unit’s circular buffer, which we have expanded to one hour,” Steadman said.

Stations using the unique processor have given Audio Time Manager high marks, citing its“phenomenal sound quality” and the fact that the unit is “very easy to use.”

About Audio Time Manager
Audio Time Manager allows broadcasters to create extra breaks wherever they are needed, eliminate back-timing hassles into a network feed, or introduce random starting events like press conferences, without the awkward talk up. Stations can insert ID’s, commentary or additional inventory without compromising sound quality or sacrificing content. Audio Time Manager’s proprietary time compression algorithms and Time/Rate Management Calculator™ (TRMC) squeeze more time and content out of each broadcast day.
